A wire support is the term used for the highest level grouping of component arrangements for any equipment used to support a catenary or auxiliary wire.

Wire supports should be arranged and separated based on the use case and the catalogue design preference.
Each wire support has one or more sub-objects called ‘Support Constraints’. A support constraint is used to define the constraints at which the wire support arrangement is valid (e.g. reach and system height) and the components used to build the specific arrangement.
