The following information is required for a new in span part.

Name. See: Common Parameters.

The appropriate name can be found in the Data Guide: Parts Naming Guide.

Cable Type. This parameter must either be ‘Contact Wire’ or ‘Messenger Wire’.

If the in span is for attachment to a catenary systems wire, then select the appropriate option.

If the in span is for attachment to an auxiliary systems wire, the cable type must be ‘Contact Wire’.
