The following information is required for a new gantry.
Name. See: Common Parameters.
Description. See: Common Parameters.
Order Index. See: Common Parameters.
Is Height Independent. This parameter must be ‘True’ or ‘False’. If the vertical position of the gantry can be adjusted without changing the mast length, then this parameter should be ‘True’. If the vertical position of the gantry cannot be adjusted without changing the mast length, then this parameter should be ‘False’.
Tolerance. This parameter is responsible for allowing users to place gantries in Lineardraft, as without a tolerance value, the accuracy required for placing markers at a gantry length is too high.
The tolerance parameter is defined by the style of attachment of the gantry to the mast, and is affected by the horizontal movement available, and the gantry connection point.
The default value for Tolerance for gantries is 0.2
WidthLow. This parameter is used for MPA (mid-point anchor) on gantry arrangements, and will be used to display the along track position that the messenger wire will terminate when no SPS equipment has been added.
The WidthLow parameter is the distance along the track from the centre of the gantry to where the messenger wire would typically terminate.
The WidthLow parameter is typically negative.
The default value for WidthLow is 0 for all gantries that do not have mid point anchor arrangements.
WidthHigh. This parameter is used for MPA (mid-point anchor) on gantry arrangements, and will be used to display the along track position that the messenger wire will terminate when no SPS equipment has been added.
The WidthHigh parameter is the distance along the track from the centre of the gantry to where the messenger wire would typically terminate.
The WidthHigh parameter is typically positive.
The default value for WidthHigh is 0 for all gantries that do not have mid point anchor arrangements.

HeightLow. This parameter is used for gantries intended for MPA (mid-point anchor) arrangements.
An average height is found using HeightLow and HeightHigh to determine the vertical position that the messenger wire will terminate when no SPS equipment has been added.
The default value for the HeightLow parameter is 0 for all gantries.
