A bracket is a type of equipment that connects one or more wire support(s) to a mast, drop tube or attachment point.

A separate bracket must be created for attachment to masts with different ‘Width’ parameter values to allow for the bracket graphics to display correctly.

A separate bracket may also be required for attachment to masts that have the same bracket equipment, but use a different graphical arrangement (e.g. bolt positions).

Each bracket has two different types of sub-objects, these are:

An image below shows the bracket parts and bracket slots for a cantilever attaching to a bracket. The cantilever and bracket slot are able to rotate freely around the slot axis.

Each bracket slot has a type of sub-object called a ‘Bracket Slot Part’.

A bracket slot part contains the name and any graphics connecting the wire support to the bracket part (that may be able to rotate with the wire support).

Each separate connection point between the mast or drop tube and the equipment requires a bracket part. Each position that a wire support can attach to requires a bracket slot.

Each bracket slot must have the same amount of bracket slot parts as there are bracket parts.
